Disperú es el primer sello independiente de Perú y Sudamérica que fue fundado y dirigido por una mujer. En el transcurso de 5 años Rebeca Llave no solo logró transformarlo en una empresa de éxito, sino que también hizo de su discográfica un escaparate desde donde se amplificaba el alcance de diversos proyectos de música popular de Perú, incluyendo el sonido crudo, salvaje y visceral de Los Saicos, pioneros del 60s punk.

Esta recopilación reúne 14 temas maravillosos que van desde la cumbia y el boogaloo hasta el beat o el garage, celebrando el legado musical de esta mujer pionera tan única.

Disperú is the first independent record label in Peru and South America that was founded and run by a woman. In the space of five years Rebeca Llave turned not only Disperu into a successful company but also transformed it into an amplifier and showcase for unique Peruvian popular music projects including the raw, wild and visceral sound of Los Saicos, 60s punk pioneers.

This compilation comprises 14 amazing tracks, ranging from cumbia or boogaloo to beat and garage, to celebrate the music legacy of this unique pioneer woman.
