Third volume of our ¡Chicas! series, an irresistible collection of ye-yé, twist, disco, beat, popcorn, flamenco pop and even Northern Soul!

From the early 60s and in the middle of a difficult political and social context, Spanish female singers – and those who moved to Spain - disregarded conventions and overcame all barriers to be part of a music movement that shook the Spanish society of the period.

Many of the 24 tracks are reissued for the first time, including very hard-to-find records. It includes extensive notes by Vicente Fabuel featuring all the original record sleeves and artist photos.

Desde comienzos de los 60, y en medio de un contexto político y social difícil, las cantantes y artistas españolas -así como aquellas que se mudaron a España desde otros lugares- hicieron caso omiso a las convenciones y superaron todas las dificultades para formar parte de un movimiento musical que zarandeó la sociedad española del momento.

Muchos de los 24 temas reeditados son recuperados aquí por primera vez, compilando discos extremadamente difíciles de encontrar. Incluye notas extensas de Vicente Fabuel, así como imágenes de los discos y fotos de las artistas.
